I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Geography Department at University of Colorado at Boulder. My research interests are in glaciology; combining GIS, remote sensing and field techniques to monitor glacier mass balance; glacier changes and their impact on water resources; sacred mountains, local traditions and high-altitude glacier worship practices in the Andes, Himalayas and Central Asia.
