This course emphasizes terrestrial-aquatic relationships in headwater catchments, with an emphasis on ecological hydrology, hydrologic pathways, isotopic and geochemical tracers, nutrient cycling, water quality, experimental manipulations, and simulation modeling.
This is a senior-level/graduate course for students who are interested in interactions among atmospheric deposition of pollutants, ecological responses, and effects on water quality.
