STELLAR SNOW CRYSTAL

Typical 6-sided stellar snow crystal. Growth is primarily along the A-axis. Note the small, dark, spherical shapes that look like BB's stuck to the outside of the stellar. These are super-cooled water droplets that are rimed onto the stellar snow crystal.
