    1. Compare and contrast the use of visible versus microwave sensors for use in the remote sensing of snow and ice properties. 10 points.


    2. For each of the following sensors, provide the following information: swath width, pixel size, spectral bands, snowpack properties measured, advantages and limitations of the sensor with respect to measuring those snow properties. (30 points, 10 points each)
