Indoor Classic Tournament

• Everyone should have a schedule or should have received a phone call, but just in case - our first game this Sunday Jan 6 is at 8:30 AM. Please be at Balch Fieldhouse by 8:00 AM.

  Balch is right next to Folsom Field. Most CU parking lots are free on weekends. I plan on parking just below Stadium Dr which is off of Folsom just south of Boulder Creek (where the statue of Frank Shorter is). There is also a lot across the street south of Folsom Field. There is also a lot next to the Coors Events Center.

• Two practices (maybe more) on Thursday Dec 27 and Thursday Jan 3 - 3:00 to 4:30 at the South Boulder Rec Center gym. The cost is $5 per session for the gym rental. Pay me when you see me at the gym or, if its easier, just mail me a check for $10.
• The tournament itself is all day (possibly 8 AM to 7 PM) on Sunday January 6 on the CU campus.

Winter Indoor Soccer - 2nd session

• Some of you have expressed an interest in playing in the 2nd winter indoor session. If there is enough interest, say 10 players, Marcus is willing to coach for no additional January fees.
• The second session is as an 8-game session. The dates are Sundays Jan 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17, & 24. The times are the same - 10, 11, or 12. The team fee is $400. Keep in mind that we have other tournament commitments on Jan 6 and Feb 24.
• For now please let me or Marcus know if you want to participate. We probably have another week to decide. Though we (the Barreras) don't personally plan on participating, I would be happy to take on the registration process.

February Practices

• Practices for the spring will start in February and will continue to be on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. In addition, Marcus would like to have an optional practice on Sundays for February only. All practices will continue to be at Burbank Middle School.
• Here are the times and dates.
  Sundays Feb 3, 10, & 17 from 1-3 PM
  Tuesdays Feb 5, 12, 19, 26 from 4-6 PM
  Thursdays Feb 7, 14, 21, 28 from 4-6 PM
  
• We travel Friday Feb 22 for the Pueblo Sunbelt Tournament which will be played on Feb 23 & 24.

Indoor Soccer

Email from Steve, December 16 2001. For those of you who couldn't make it today, the boys finished with a solid win. The score was 13-2, last time I looked. This was the last game of the winter indoor session giving the guys a 4-2 record. Congratulations on what looked to be a fun and enriching experience.
